Postcards from My Journey: Tales of Travel and Reflection

From train rides to quiet streets, every place I’ve visited carries a story that still lives in my mind. In this first entry, I’m opening my travel journal to share the snapshots, lessons, and little treasures I’ve gathered along the way—postcards from my wandering heart to yours.

For me, travel has never been just about ticking places off a list. It’s the quiet moments—a chilly morning in a city I’ve never been to, the random interactions with locals who feel like old friends, or the unexpected turn that leads to a hidden gem tucked away from the main road.

I’ve always believed that the best souvenirs are stories we collect along the way.

Some are small—a shared laugh with a street vendor or a sudden downpour that makes you run for cover under an awning with strangers. Others are big, and linger like postcards in my mind: the stunning sunset peeking behind tall buildings, the calming hush of a temple at dawn, or those wholesome encounters with people I may never meet again.

In this corner of my blog—Postcards & Stories—I’ll be gathering these moments, ordinary and extraordinary alike. I hope they remind you that our lives, no matter where we go, are stitched together by stories waiting to be shared and celebrated.

This post will grow over time as I continue to visit new places and revisit the ones I’ve been to, sharing the reflections they’ve left behind.

So, here’s to our wandering hearts and the postcards we share. May you find a bit of your own story here, too.
