Long before I created this blog or chose a name for it, God had already written all my days in His book. And before you and I cross paths here, He was shaping something beautiful out of the ordinary moments in our lives, including the birth of this blog, which serves a divine purpose in His plan.
This blog was born from a slow yet faithful unraveling; a gentle rebuilding toward growth and self-discovery through Jesus. It came from learning that God is not only in the grand moments but also in the grind, the quiet, the small, and the hidden. If you’re here, it’s likely because some part of you suspects that’s true, too. And so, these four scriptures serve as the foundation of this space.

This verse reminds me that our stories are not random, but carefully and intentionally crafted with purpose by a loving Creator. Even before I started this blog or envisioned my path, God had already written my story—every chapter, every mundane Tuesday, and every season that felt trivial. It’s uplifting to know we’re part of a grand narrative!
The Living Page is more than a metaphor; it’s a lived reality. It represents the belief that life is a series of stories inked with divine meaning. This space is not about having everything figured out or written perfectly; it’s about sharing life as it happens. Therefore, one of my missions is to highlight how God is at work in our lives, even when it seems like nothing is happening.

Life is like sacred literature, and we are living letters. Our stories speak even when we’re silent. It reminds me that our lives are meant to reflect Jesus, not just in what we say, but in how we live our lives. The Spirit is beautifully writing truths on our hearts that others are meant to read, not because we are eloquent, but because we are real.
We don’t need a platform, a stage, or perfect words to make an impact. Sometimes, the way we present ourselves in everyday life can reflect God’s goodness and, hopefully, point people to Him more than anything else.
Glory in the Ordinary isn’t about polished theology; it’s about bearing witness—a space I created to share my experiences, reflections, and the ways I’ve seen God’s hand at work in my life. A safe place for gaining clarity for ourselves and others, not in pride, but in truth, and trusting that the Spirit is guiding our thoughts.

I came across this verse that truly resonated with me. It encourages me to take action, share my faith, and remain faithful in everything I do, no matter how small.
I may not be famous and have created The Living Page from scratch without a massive following like some other blogs, but that’s perfectly fine. Many meaningful things begin quietly. After all, it’s not just about the outcome, it’s about the intention.
God is not just looking at results; He’s watching our hearts as we begin.
He rejoices over small beginnings, not because He lacks vision for growth, but because He understands what seeds can become. More importantly, He knows who we are becoming in the process.
This blog is where I slow down and honor the little moments I often overlook, especially the ways God shows up in the small, quiet parts of life. Here, I also invite you to take the time to notice and reflect.

I started my journey of reading the Bible with the Book of John. As someone new to reading the Scripture—especially versions with more traditional or complex language—”confusing” was an understatement. But this verse anchored me. It gave me clarity when the earlier verses felt abstract. Even if I didn’t fully understand the theology yet, something in my heart recognized who it was talking about—Jesus. It reminded me that even in confusion or spiritual darkness, Christ is the light that never fades. And that light brings life, not just knowledge.
This verse helped me to realize that understanding starts with faith. That even when words are hard to follow, the Word Himself is alive, powerful, and present.
Ultimately, this blog exists because of Jesus—the Light of the world, the Word made flesh, and Life itself. Every page we write or live only makes sense when we view it through His light.
Though darkness can feel overwhelming, it’s just a chapter, not our entire story.
Finding glory in the ordinary can illuminate our paths toward Jesus, even when it’s challenging to find the light.
Let’s keep shining together, knowing that God’s presence can transform even the most ordinary moments into opportunities for His glory.
I hope these verses encourage you to live with awareness and recognize God’s presence in your everyday lives.
As you read and think about what you find here, consider these questions:
- Where do I see God working in my daily life?
- How can I be a message of hope for others?
- What does it mean for Christ’s light to shine in my ordinary life?
Let this be your prayer this week:
Lord, thank You for being the Author of my life. I appreciate that every line of my story holds a purpose in Your plan. Help me to recognize Your presence in the quiet moments, to see Your light in the cracks, and to feel Your Spirit guiding me in the waiting. May every word in my story, seen or unseen, bring glory to You. Amen.
